6 Steps to Draw a Beagle
Step 1:
This first step of our guide to drawing a beagle will allow you to draw the adorable face of this dog! First, draw round shapes for the outlines of the eyes, then add more circles inside for the pupils. There will also be more jagged lines around the eyes for a bit of furry detail. Next, draw more curved lines for the nose, then extend the muzzle.
We’ll give the dog a big, floppy tongue sticking out of the mouth using rounded lines, and then you’ll finish by drawing the floppy ears that hang down the sides of the head. Then you are ready for step 2!
Step 2:
Persisting with this beagle picture, we will now remove the back and tail of this adorable dog. This should be a painless step, and you can begin by drawing an easy, rounded cable for the canine’s back. This will extend from the back edge of the ear to the right and then down. Finally, draw a tail for the dog using curved lines that end at a sharp point at the end. Then it choice be time to carry on to step 3.
Step 3:
For this third step of our guide on how to draw a beagle, we will draw the dog’s first legs. The right front leg is relatively short but spread out at a right angle. The start of trunk will also be connected to it. Then, you can draw the back leg using another curved line for the belly. This will be bent to show that the dog is sitting, so you can draw it with curved and rounded lines. With these legs drawn, we can move to step 4 of the guide.
Step 4:
In drawing your Beagle, you will add a collar and the final outlines of the body. Use curved lines for the necklace; add a small round shape. We’ll add a heart design to this shape for an even cuter touch. Finally, you can use more curved lines to draw the front leg on the left, which will be slightly bent at the bottom. Then finish the chest outline, which will prepare you for some final details in the next step of the guide.
Step 5:
Your image is beautiful, but we have a few final details to add before coloring your creation! In this step of our guide to drawing a beagle, you will add a few sections to the pattern on the dog’s fur that you will color later. We will use more jagged lines to make each section look hairier when drawing these sections. As you draw them, you should closely follow their appearance in our reference image if you like the look of our design. You can also create a different pattern if you wish!
